Online Marketing- ONLINE MARKETING MANAGER for Leading Marine Retailer Established in 1986, Sea Gear Marine is one of the leading commercial fishing suppliers and retailers in the world. Located in the picturesque seaside village of Cape May, New Jersey, we specialize in commercial fishing gear and carry a full line of fishing gear, survival gear, fishing supplies, and marine hardware. We are in the process of expanding our already well-known local business into a national online brand. To support this effort, we need an experienced Online Marketing Manager to help coordinate and manage our ecommerce efforts. The successful candidate will have a background in online marketing and experience in ecommerce, ideally for a consumer-facing brand. The Online Marketing Manager will start immediately on creating a usable catalog of our entire inventory using Excel. This catalog (CVS, XLS) file will be used to load our products into our ecommerce store and easily manage the inventory. We will need all product information, including photos, added to the online store. This person will also manage the development of our new website. They will manage day-to-day interactions with our web development firms, keeping them on time and on budget. The Online Manager will also be the primary manager of the website once launched and help us implement ecommerce best practices. They will also manage our social media presence, assist with public relations, and constantly look for ways to help us improve website conversions, and online awareness and reputation. Desired Skills & Knowledge: * Online marketing * Ecommerce * Social media * SEO, PPC * Website content management systems (CMS) * Email marketing * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs * Experience working with outside agencies * Basic knowledge of Magento is desirable * Experience or knowledge in the marine industry is highly desirable.
